Improving energy efficiency has an important role to play in delivering affordable, sustainable and secure energy for the UK. 99.9% of the UK’s businesses are SMEs - the SME guide to energy efficiency aims support the UK’s SMEs to unlock the benefits of energy efficiency.

The guide provides simple advice on how to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption. It includes top tips on steps to take and measures to implement, guidance on how to engage staff, signposts to support available from government and the wider market, and includes a list of FAQs for those wanting to find out more.

The guide was produced in collaboration with ENWORKS, who provided expert advice drawing on their 15 years of experience of working with SMEs on energy efficiency.
